FINANCIAL DISTRICT — Two men stuffed their bags with more than $1,000 in cold medications and ran out of a Broad Street Duane Reade last week, police said.

The two thieves grabbed roughly 31 boxes of decongestant Mucinex, worth a total of $595, along with packages of Advil, Theraflu, Tylenol and Vicks, from the shelves of the 67 Broad St. Duane Reade, at about 8:15 a.m. on Aug. 27, according to a police report.

The men hid the boxes in their backpacks, then headed out of the store undetected, police said.
