CROWN HEIGHTS — A man choked a 25-year-old woman in the neighborhood last month after she refused to give him sexual favors, police said.
The suspect began a conversation with his victim at about 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 16 as she walked by Pacific Street and Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights, according to the NYPD.

The woman never lost consciousness during the assault, police said.
Investigators released a photo of the male suspect on Wednesday. The blurry picture shows him wearing a dark skull cap and a blue sweatshirt with red lettering. He also has a scar over one eye, police said.
