Award-winning documentarian Frederick Wiseman's film on the neighborhood, "In Jackson Heights," will be shown in New York for the first time this October.
The film, which was shot last year and focuses on the diversity and changes in Jackson Heights, will be shown at the 53rd annual New York Film Festival from Oct. 4 to Oct. 11.
"In Jackson Heights" is making its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival in September, and will also be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival, according to his production company.
