FORT GREENE — New data recently released show how Fort Greene and Clinton Hill students fared on the lastest state math and English tests.

Citywide, third through eighth graders did slightly better this year on the state's math and English exams than in 2014, according to data released by the mayor's office.

Still, only 35 percent of students met proficiency standards in math and 30 percent met English standards, according to officials. The numbers reveal profound racial disparities as well as geographic ones.
