GREAT KILLS — A trio broke open arcade machines from three Staten Island movie theaters and snatched the money inside, police said.

The suspects first hit the Atrium Stadium Cinema, at 680 Arthur Kill Road, on Aug. 2, police said.

First, they walked into the theater and started playing video games, and then while two female suspects acted as cover, the male suspect pried open the machines and took an undetermined amount of money inside, police said.

On the same day, the trio hit two United Artists Cinema locations — at 105 Mill Road and 2474 Forest Ave. — and broke into the machines and stole money, police said.

Police released surveillance photos of the suspects taken at the Atrium.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
