CHELSEA — A drunk reveler who had fallen asleep at a swanky Chelsea nightclub was enraged when security woke him up so he kicked a glass door and broke it, police said.

The incident happened just before 4 a.m. on Aug. 6 at No. 8 at 357 West 16th St., police said

The 30-year-old man, who was not identified, was not charged, according to police.

Michael Fragofo, a spokesman for the club said "an inebriated customer who had fallen asleep in the space got upset… and kicked the door,” said.

“It’s just cracked, it’s an easy fix. We’ve had plenty of worse things happen.”

Other notable crimes from the 10th Precinct, according to police, include:

► A thief stole two deodorants from a Duane Read at 322 8th Ave. on Aug. 5, police said. The woman fled with Old Spice and Dove bottles and is still on the loose.

► On Aug. 5, a drunken man threw a handful of potato chips at an unsuspecting woman while she was walking near Ninth Avenue and West 24th Street, according to police. There were no injuries but the 52-year-old chip-tosser was escorted to Bellevue by emergency workers, police said.

► A man groped a 47-year-old woman as she was getting off the 1 train at 7th Avenue and West 28th on Aug. 6 just before 8 p.m. The perpetrator in his 20s grabbed the victim’s buttocks, frightening her, police said. No arrests have been made.

► Two residents were arguing at 401 West 19th St. just after midnight on Aug. 6 when one of the neighbors threw an egg at the others door. No arrests were made, police said.
