SOHO — A $1,250 dress was swiped from SoHo boutique Kiki de Montparnasse; then, a few hours later, a $2,075 bag was lifted from nearby Balenciaga, police said.

The two stores were both hit up by a young female shoplifter, on Aug. 1, though it hasn't been confirmed whether it was same woman, police said.

At Kiki de Montparnasse, on 79 Greene St., a woman walked in, quickly grabbed the dress from a rack at the entrance of the store, then headed out, at about 12:20 p.m., police said.

Several hours later, at about 3:20 p.m., a woman swiped a $2,075 handbag from a display at Balenciaga, hid it within her own bag, and walked out of the 148 Mercer St. store, police said.

Police are still investigating the thefts.
