THE BRONX — Four men forced their way into a Mott Haven apartment Monday and sexually assaulted a woman while making her roommate kneel with a gun to his head, police said.

The men then stole the victims' money, phones and keys. The intruders had not been arrested as of Thursday morning, an NYPD spokesman said.

The thieves, who can be seen in surveillance footage, approached a 37-year-old man as he was opening his East 143rd Street apartment about 6 p.m. and pushed their way inside, police said.

They forced him to his knees and put a gun to his head, demanding his belongings, police said.

A 39-year-old woman who had been in the shower heard the commotion and ran out to see what was happening, police said.

One of the men grabbed her and pushed her into a bedroom where he demanded money and then sexually assaulted her, police said.

The two tenants' relationship was not immediately clear, but an NYPD spokesman said they shared the apartment.

One suspect can be seen in surveillance footage in a white T-shirt with long braids.

Another wore an orange and black baseball cap and a black T-shirt with the letters "STH" written across the chest.

The other two suspects wore a black T-shirt and a white tank top, respectively.
