MIDTOWN — Bryant Park's popular Monday outdoor movie series continues this month with the 1974 classic "Chinatown," the Hepburn-Tracy romcom "Desk Set," and "Back to the Future."

"Desk Set," which plays August 10, features Hepburn and Tracy, real life lovers, in an office romance. It was penned by Phoebe and Henry Ephron, parents of romcom genre master Nora Ephron.

On August 17, the festival screens "Chinatown," the Roman Polanski noir thriller starring Jack Nicholson and Faye Dunaway. It is widely considered to have one of the most memorable plot twists in cinema history. (No spoilers here.)

The series ends on August 24 with Michael J. Fox's time-travel adventure "Back to the Future." The screening will be accompanied by free popcorn and a photobooth with "time travel props," according to a press release.

Bring a blanket to sprawl out on. Chairs are not allowed. The show starts at sunset, typically between 8 and 9 p.m., on Mondays.

The lawn opens at 5 p.m. and can fill up fast:
