Amy & Charles Schumer Call for Gun Control Legislation

Comedian and actress Amy Schumer joined her cousin Sen. Charles Schumer as he laid out a plan to tighten gun control Monday, including rewarding states that contribute to the national background check system. Their joint announcement comes after two women were killed during a screening of Amy Schumer’s new movie "Trainwreck." The comedian told Twitter she was “on it” after the daughter of a Sandy Hook Elementary shooting survivor posted an open letter calling for her support of gun control.
