BROOKLYN — Three people were shot while playing a street game on Thursday night in Bushwick, police said.

The male victims — 16, 18 and 23 — were playing the game Skelly near the corner of Cornelia Street and Bushwick Avenue at about 11 p.m. when a group of four men approached them and started an argument, police said.

When the larger group was walking away, one suspect turned and fired several shots at the victims, police said.

The 16-year-old was struck in the leg, the 18-year-old in the arm and the 23-year-old in the back, police said.

"It was pandemonium here," said Josef Palo, 52, the uncle of the 23-year-old victim. "He was crawling towards the porch, he got shot in the back."

He said residents want to hold a community meeting this month to address the problems in the neighborhood.

"This is the most dangerous it's ever been," he said.

"We been living here for 40 years, and never seen anything like this. It used to be just bats and chains when I was younger, now kids are getting guns from everywhere."

They were all taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition, police said.
