ARDEN HEIGHTS — A man was arrested after he stabbed another man outside a Staten Island bar last week, prosecutors said.

Vincent Costantino, 26, allegedly stabbed the 23-year-old victim several times in the chest and stomach and slashed his neck outside of Unique Lounge, at 1757 Arthur Kill Road, on July 23 at about 1:10 a.m., prosecutors said.

The incident happened after a man and a woman got into an argument outside of the bar, a law enforcement source said. It was unclear how and why Costantino got involved.

The victim survived and was given intensive-care treatment at a hospital, prosecutors said.

Costantino was charged with assault, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon at his arraignment, the Staten Island District Attorney's office said.

His bail was set at $5,000 and he's due back in court on Wednesday, according to court records.

Costantino's lawyer did not respond to a request for comment.
