ASTORIA — Police are looking for a man caught on surveillance video striking another man in the head with an unknown object on a Queens street last month.
The suspect attacked the 34-year-old victim on 34th Street near 37th Avenue at about 2:45 p.m. on June 17, police said.
Video released by the NYPD shows the suspect hitting the man several times with a long, thin object as the victim attempts to fight him off. The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he was treated for a cut on his head, according to police.
Police did not have further information on the motive for the attack.
