LOWER EAST SIDE — An argument between two ex-lovers led to a purse theft early Wednesday morning, police said.

The former flames, a 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, were sitting at a bench in front of the LaGuardia Houses at 340 Cherry St. at 1:05 a.m., when the man took his ex-girlfriend’s black H&M purse from her shoulder, police said.

The woman tried to take back her belongings, but the man pushed her away and fled. The purse contained $80 in cash and the woman’s Boost Mobile cellphone, according to the NYPD.

Other recent crimes in the 7th Precinct include:

►  A thief carjacked a $14,000 orange motorcycle, hours after its owner parked it in front of 21 Ludlow St. at 1 a.m. on July 17, police said. The man first checked to see if the 2015 KTM 350 EXC-F motorbike had been towed — because it did not have a license plate on at the time — but could not find the vehicle, according to the NYPD.

► A 38-year-old man walking home from work on July 19 at 1:40 a.m. was approached by a group of teenage boys, one of whom pushed him to the ground, cutting his arm and knee, police said. The man fled the scene and took an ambulance to Beth Israel Hospital, police said.
