Man Shot in Leg at LaGuardia Houses, Police Say

LOWER EAST SIDE — A 34-year-old man was taken to Bellevue Hospital after he was shot in the leg last weekend, police said.

Police said the man was hanging out with friends at the LaGuardia Houses, in the rear of 65 Jefferson St., when he was shot at 2:30 a.m. on July 12.

The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was listed in stable condition but was uncooperative with police, according to the NYPD.

Two days later, police named two suspects — 21-year-old Gregory Beaumont and 22-year-old Chad Seegars — on the 7th Precinct’s Twitter account.
