All Weekend

 Back to the Beach

Where: Midland Beach

Back to the Beach, hosted by Borough President James Oddo and the Carl V. Bini Memorial Fund, returns on Saturday and Sunday with live music on three stages, vendors, games, food, rides for children and more. Bands set to play include London Fogg, the Flesh Junkies, Captain Ahab and the Sea Crakens, New Shades of Soul and more. Saturday's event starts at 11 a.m. and ends with fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Sunday is from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Staten Island PrideFest

Where: Snug Harbor Cultural Center, 1000 Richmond Terrace

The 11th annual PrideFest, hosted by the Pride Center of Staten Island, returns to Snug Harbor with a party filled with live music, artists, craft vendors, food truck, drag performers, beverages and more. The day kicks with a 5K around the Snug Harbor. The event starts at 11:30 a.m. and ends at 6:00 p.m.

 The Interpretations of Dreams

Where: Clay Pit Ponds Interpretive Center, 2351 Veterans Road West

Staten Island OutLOUD presents a free spoken word performance with music and live music in the woods. Dance performances by Living Through Movement and Deep Tanks Butoh will be at the event, along with music by Tom Bones, Gary J. Moore and Kevin Norton. The show starts at 7 p.m. and will move indoors in case of rain.

► Liedy's Shore Inn 110th Anniversary

Where: Liedy's Shore Inn, 748 Richmond Terrace

One of the oldest bars in Staten Island, Liedy's Shore Inn, celebrates their 110th anniversary at 4:00 p.m. with free food, live music from the Tad Schaefer Band, D.J. Kitty and Jimmy Mack.

Sunday, July 12

La Isla Bonita Summer Festival

Where: Faber Park

The La Isla Bonita Summer Festival will bring live music from bands like the International Dub Ambassadors from Puerto Rico, New York City's all-female mariachi band Mariachi Flor de Toloache and Staten Island's Doll Tits. The festival will also have D.J. sets by Dizzle and D.J. Run P, live art, skating at Faber Park's new skate park and swimming at the pool. The event is from 3 to 6 p.m.

► Walk Through St. Francis Woodlands

Where: St. Francis Woodlands, Todt Hill Road and Merrick Avenue

The Protectors of Pine Oak Woods, who played a role in preserving the woodlands in 1995, will celebrate their 40 year anniversary with a walk through the woods where they'll talk about why they fought so hard to persevere them. ► Circumnavigate Staten Island

Where: Stapleton Pier, 355 Front St.

The National Lighthouse Museum will circumnavigate Staten Island's shoreline on the Arthur Kill by boat at 11:00 a.m. The trip will pass by bird sanctuaries, the boat graveyard and go under all four Staten Island bridges.
