QUEENS — A popular free movie series held at a Jamaica park will be screening flicks featuring the late Robin Williams this summer, the organizers said.

The “Classic Film Fridays” series kicks off at Rufus King Park on July 10 at 8:30 p.m. with "Dead Poets Society." The lineup also includes "Good Morning Vietnam" (July 17 at 8:22 p.m.), "Mrs. Doubtfire" (July 24 at 8:14 p.m.), "The Birdcage" (July 31, 8:06 p.m.) and "Good Will Hunting" (August 14 at 7:58 p.m.).

Williams tragically took his own life on Aug. 11, 2014.

Every year the series, now in its seventh season, features movies based on a particular theme. In the past, locals had a chance to watch James Bond movies, monster films and romantic flicks, the organizers said.

“We’re excited to be presenting five films that feature the late great Robin Williams,” said Greg Mays of A Better Jamaica, a nonprofit that organizes the series.

“As everybody knows, Robin Williams was a comedic genius.”

Rufus King Park is located on Jamaica Avenue (at 153rd Street). There is no film scheduled for Friday, August 7. For more information, go here
