COBBLE HILL — A man selling sneakers from a Cobble Hill home was attacked and tied up by two robbers last week, according to a police report.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, was selling sneakers from the 200 block of Warren Street on July 3 at about 10 p.m. to a man and woman whom he knew, police said.

He went downstairs to get the sneakers but when he returned, he was ambushed by two unknown men wearing blue masks who punched him, causing cuts to the victim's head and face, according to the report.

The attackers then attempted to zip-tie the victim's hands and feet and threatened to kill him, the report said.

The victim managed to escape from the ties but the two men fled with an iPhone and $800 in cash, according to police.
