QUEENS — A man playing a slot machine at a Queens casino had his luck run out when a thief snatched $2,000 from his hand and ran away, police said.

The 54-year-old gambler was at the Resorts World Casino, at 110-00 Rockaway Blvd., at 11:30 p.m.on July 2 when the suspect walked up to him and grabbed a bundle of cash he was holding, authorities said.

Surveillance cameras show the thief running down the stairs and out of the casino through a side door.

Police described the suspect as 20 to 25 years old with a thin build.

No arrests had been made as of Wednesday morning, officials said.
