DITMAS PARK— A 22-year-old man was fatally shot near Prospect Park shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night, police said.
Ian Caicedo, of Ditmas Park, was shot in the head outside 81 Crooke Ave. between St. Paul's Place and Ocean Avenue, just two blocks from the east side of the park, authorities said.
He was rushed to Kings County Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries and died, police said.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
