FORT GREENE — A 34-year-old man was shot in the thigh outside Frank's Cocktail Lounge in Fort Greene, police said.

The victim was on the sidewalk outside the bar, located at 660 Fulton St., on June 27 at 4:30 a.m. when he heard a gunshot and started to run, an NYPD spokesman said.

He then heard several more shots and realized he had been hit in the leg, according to police.

He was taken to the hospital in stable condition, the spokesman said.

It is unclear if the victim was the intended target or if he was hit by a stray bullet, police said.

The suspected shooter was later caught on camera entering the Lafayette Avenue C train station wearing a white button-down shirt and jeans.

The owners of the bar, which recently celebrated 40 years in the neighborhood, could not be reached for comment.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
