CORONA — Free WiFi and charging stations will soon be installed in Corona Plaza, on 103rd Street and Roosevelt Avenue, officials announced.
The plaza will feature two charging stations provided by AT&T and a WiFi connection from SkyPackets.
The program is funded by Neighborhood Plaza Partnership, which helps maintain Corona Plaza with other community partners.
The space became a plaza in 2012 and features tables, chairs and programming for the community.
A timeline for the installation was not immediately available. Councilwoman Julissa Ferreras is expected to make the announcement Monday morning at the plaza.
