SoHo — A woman was punched in the face by a robber who stole her crocodile handbag, police said.
The 21-year-old told police she was walking near the intersection of Watts Street and Sixth Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. on June 16 when a man ran up from behind her, then hit her in the face.
The man grabbed her white Italian handbag, worth about $200, which also contained her $70 Chanel perfume. The robber then fled, according to police reports.
Police are still searching for the robber.
