BROOKLYN — A teen was stabbed in an attempted robbery in Gowanus Tuesday night, police said.
The teen, whose name and age were not immediately released, fended off the would-be robber near Third Avenue and 16th Street about 8:40 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said.
He was stabbed in the torso in the scuffle and treated at Methodist Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition, police said.
It wasn't clear what the thief was trying to steal, police said.
There were no immediate arrests, police said.
