2-Month-Old Baby Killed in Williamsburg, NYPD Says

By  Aidan Gardiner and Murray Weiss | June 23, 2015 8:49am

BROOKLYN —  The October death of a 2-month-old baby in Williamsburg was ruled a homicide Monday by the city medical examiner's office, police said.

Hudson Dipede was found unconscious and bleeding from his nose with severe head injuries in a building on North Sixth Street, near Kent Avenue, about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 17, NYPD officials said.

He was pronounced dead at Woodhull hospital, police said.

The medical examiner's office said Hudson's death was caused by abusive head trauma. Sources said they believed the baby had been shaken while in the care of the babysitter who made the 911 call.

There had been no arrests as of Tuesday, an NYPD spokesman said.
