THE BRONX — Police have released surveillance video of a man who threw a woman to the ground and tried to rape her in Concourse Village late last month, they said.

The suspect, who had not been arrested as of Thursday morning, approached the woman as she walked along East 161st Street about 5:10 a.m. on May 26 and threw her to the ground, NYPD officials said.

He laid on top of her but then fled west, police said.

The suspect, who stands about 6 feet tall, wore a red and white striped polo shirt, with a black watch on his left wrist, light blue jeans, white sneakers and a baseball cap, police said.
