FORT GREENE — A drunk carjacker was arrested for stealing a car at gunpoint and then crashing it into a MTA bus after driving the wrong direction down a one-way street, authorities said.

Shamort Johnson, 21, told police that he was drunk and needed a ride after getting busted for the reckless cruise on June 2 about 1 a.m., according to police and Brooklyn District Attorney's office.

The incident unfolded after Johnson stopped a 24-year-old man as he was exiting his car on Lefferts Place and asked if the vehicle was his, police said.

The owner said yes, and Johnson pulled out a silver gun and said, "Give me your keys and whatever money you have," according to police.

The victim handed Johnson the keys and his wallet, police said. The car also contained a Macbook Pro and $1,000 in cash, according to the DA.

Johnson then drove off, speeding the wrong way down a one-way street before getting the car wedged between an MTA bus and a parked car, causing damage to both vehicles, the DA said.

Johnson, who authorities said was drunk at the time, was arrested at the scene.

He was charged with grand larceny, robbery and harrassment, according to the DA.

Johnson was indicted on June 8 with his bail set $50,000, the DA's office said.

His attorney's information was not available.
