TRIBECA — It was a lift and run.
Fifteen young men walked into upscale TriBeCa boutique Patron of the New last week at about 12:35 p.m. on June 4 and grabbed designer duds worth $34,000 in just about 20 seconds, according to a police report.
The group snatched a total of 20 items, including five pairs of women's Balmain leather pants, worth $16,375; more than $15,000 worth of Balmain jeans and a pair of men's Balmain sweatpants, priced at $855, police said.
A store employee told police that the pack of shoplifters, who appeared to be in their 20s, then quickly fled the 151 Franklin St. shop.
The store did not immediately return request for comment.
