QUEENS — Police are looking for a man who tried to break into a Forest Hills real estate office in broad daylight and then fled through the West Side Tennis Club, authorities said.

The man was trying to lift the screen of an open window at Garden Square Realty at 4 Dartmouth St. on Monday, June 8, at about 2:30 p.m., police said.

The suspect was scared off by an employee who spotted him, and he fled through the nearby tennis club, according to the NYPD.

The real estate office did not immediately respond to a phone call seeking comment.

Police described the suspect as being in his 40s and being approximately 6-foot-1.

He was last seen wearing a blue, orange, and white shirt, a black hat, blue jeans and white sneakers.
