HELLS KITCHEN — Famed trial lawyer David Boies, who represented Al Gore in the Supreme Court case Bush vs. Gore, will be 55 Hudson Yards' first tenant.

His firm, Boies, Schiller & Flexner, will move into the office building after it opens in 2018, according to a statement from building owners Related.

Boies joined with his opposing attorney on Bush vs. Gore, Theodore Olson, to overturn the gay marriage ban, Proposition 8, in California.

Boies also fought Microsoft, which Bill Gates said he was "out to destroy," in an antitrust suit, and has defended tobacco companies against smokers.

The firm is set to move into a 3-floor, 83,000-square-foot space once the building opens in 2018.
