NEW YORK CITY — Here comes the fine.

A custodian for the Department of Citywide Administrative Services was slapped with a three-day suspension without pay after helping couples get hitched, according to the the Conflict of Interest Board.

Johnny Dunbar, who was assigned to clean 141 Worth St. — which shares an address with the city's marriage bureau — got into trouble for standing in as a witness at three marriages on July 9, 2013, August 30, 2013 and Nov. 27, 2013.

Dunbar, who began working at DCAS in 2008, told investigators that he was "unaware at the time" that he shouldn't have been acting as a witness to marriages while he was on duty, according to his statement to the COIB.

He admitted to taking $40 for the August wedding but said he did not get paid for the other weddings, according to his statement.

Dunbar's case was settled in April and he agreed to the three-day suspension, which docked him $388.42 in wages, documents show.

He did not respond to multiple requests for comment. His union, DC 37, declined to comment.
