GREENWICH VILLAGE — Police are looking for a man who they say grabbed a woman's butt near Union Square about a month ago.

The 24-year-old woman was crossing the street at the southeast corner of West 14th Street and Fifth Avenue on May 4 a little before 8 p.m. when a man with salt-and-pepper hair and glasses came up behind her and grabbed her, police said.

Police said the man just walked away — but not before the woman was able to snap a photo of him with her cell phone.

The photo shows the man wearing a black jacket, black jeans and yellow work boots, and carrying an AND1 black and white backpack.

The NYPD asks that anyone with information about this man or this incident call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
