MORRISANIA — Residents of a Bronx apartment building were stunned to find a large pile of animal bones dumped in the building’s lobby Thursday morning, according to the NYPD.

The remains were discovered in the lobby of 3250 Third Ave. near 163rd Street at about 8 a.m., police said.

"I was freaked out. I ain't never seen nothing like that in my whole life," said Carla Arzu, 35, who saw police inspecting the bones at about 8:50 a.m.

"Somebody done some voodoo on us," Arzu added, jokingly. "Tell the maintenance people to put some holy water down."

It was not immediately clear who dumped the bones or what type of animal or animals they may be from.

Rico Gomez, 54, said he thought "crazy people" dumped the bones.

"Why not throw it in the garbage?"

The building is part of the Albert Goodman Plaza, an affordable housing complex that underwent a $8.8 million renovation in 2014, according to the Department of Housing Preservation and Development
