Teen's iPhone Snatched While He Was Walking to School, Police Say

BOERUM HILL — A teenager walking to school was robbed of his iPhone in broad daylight in Boerum Hill, according to police.

The 17-year-old was walking on Baltic Street between Smith and Hoyt streets when he was approached by two men at 10 a.m. on May 27. One of the men said, "give me your phone," according to the police report. 

As one man grabbed the victim, the other snatched the iPhone 6 Plus from his hands, authorities said. 

The phone model can cost between $299 and $499, according Apple's website

Police described both men as being in their 20s, around 5 feet 8 inches tall and between 160 to 180 pounds.  

The victim did not report any injuries.
