BROOKLYN — A bystander was hurt when a gunman opened fire in broad daylight during a drug-related fight on a Bedford-Stuyvesant street Sunday afternoon, police said.

The shooter was involved in a drug-related feud with another person, whose identity was not immediately released, outside 220 Malcolm X Blvd., near Jefferson Avenue, about 3:40 p.m., NYPD Chief of Detectives Robert Boyce said during a press conference Monday.

In dramatic video released by police, the gunman can be seen doing an about-face and unloading a Glock with a 30-magazine clip as he walked backwards down the street.

The person he'd been fighting managed to escape unharmed, but the salvo of bullets hit a 50-year-old man, whose name was not immediately released, under his left armpit and again in his right shoulder, NYPD officials said.

The victim was listed in stable condition at an area hospital, police said.

The suspect, who is about 5-feet-5-inches tall and 190 pounds, was last seen in a brown hoodie with matching sweatpants, police said.

He had not been arrested as of Monday afternoon, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
