Man Exposes Himself to Woman in Harlem Park, Police Say

MANHATTAN — A woman fought back against a man who lifted her skirt and exposed himself inside Morningside Park Tuesday, chasing him off, police said.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening, according to the NYPD.

The 38-year-old woman was walking on a path in the park between West 120th and West 123rd streets at about 7:40 p.m. when the man approached her from behind and attacked her, NYPD said.

After she swung at him, he fled the park.

The attacker was described as 18 to 25 years old, 6 feet tall and 180 pounds, according to the NYPD. He has hazel eyes and a slender build.

He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, white sneakers and gray sweatpants.
