BROOKLYN — A man torched a Flatbush gynecologist office twice in one week, police said.

Authorities are asking for help identifying the man captured in surveillance footage on May 17 about 2 a.m. smashing the front door of Boro Park Obstetrics & Gynecology located at 1414-A Newkirk Avenue, igniting an "incendiary device and tossing it into the entryway.

In the video provided by the NYPD, the suspect appears intoxicated, loosing his balance slightly each time he tries to break through the glass door.

He seems to be holding a bottle in one hand.

With the other hand, he used a fire hydrant cap to break through the door, police said.

The second incident happened on May 22 at 4:00 a.m., police said. The man used a sledge hammer to smash open the door before throwing in another "incendiary device."

Police provided no further information about the damage done to the gynecologist's office or what kind of device was used to spark the blazes.

No one from Boro Park Obstetrics & Gynecology could be reached for immediate comment.

The suspect is in his forties and is 5 feet 10 inches, police said.

Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS or visit their website.
