BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A 15-year-old is facing murder charges in connection with a double-shooting at the Marcy Houses that left one teen dead and another injured, officials announced Wednesday.

Elijah Morton, of Bedford-Stuyvesant, was arrested for the April 17 shooting death of 16-year-old Dontea Bascom, authorities said.

Bascom and a 13-year-old boy were hit by gunfire in the courtyard of 626 Park Ave. in the apparent gang-related incident, police said.

Bascom was shot in the groin and pronounced dead at Kings County Hospital. The 13-year-old was taken to Bellevue Hospital with gunshot wounds to his torso and leg, according to police.

Morton faces charges of murder, attempted murder, and criminal possession of a weapon, the Brooklyn District Attorney's office said.

A lawyer for Morton declined to comment.
