18 Subway Lines Slated For Service Disruptions This Weekend

MIDTOWN — A whopping 18 of the city's 22 subway lines are slated for service disruptions as the MTA continues its extensive track and station work this weekend.

Here’s a breakdown:

1 Line: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, South Ferry-bound 1s will run express from 96th Street to Times Square.

2 Line: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, Brooklyn-bound 2s wil run express from 96th Street to Times Square.

3 Line: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, 3s will operate to/from New Lots Avenue, replacing the 4. 3s will continue to run express in Manhattan.

4 Line: Until September, 4s will skip Rockaway Avenue and Van Siclen Avenue in both directions.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, 4s will be suspended in both directions between Bowling Green and New Lots Avenue. 2s and 3s will provide alternate service. Transfers will be available between 4, 2 and 3 trains at Fulton Street. Downtown 4s will run local from 125th Street to Grand Central.

5 Line: From 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday, Brooklyn-bound 5s will run local from 125th Street to Grand Central.

6 Line: Until September, south-bound 6s will skip 103rd Street.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Pelham Bay Park-bound 6s will run express from 3rd Avenue-138th Street to Hunts Point Avenue.

For service to Brook Avenue, Cypress Avenue, East 143rd Street, East 149th Street and Longwood Avenue, take the 6 to Hunts Point Avenue and transfer to a southbound 6.

For service from these stations, take a 6 to 3rd Avenue-138th Street and transfer to a Pelham Bay Park-bound 6.

A Line: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, Inwood-bound As will skip Spring Street, 23rd Street and 50th Street. Trains will run every 15 minutes.

C Line: From 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Harlem-bound Cs will skip Spring Street, 23rd Street and 50th Street. Trains will run every 15 minutes.

D Line: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Coney Island-bound Ds will be rerouted via the N line from 36th Street to Coney Island.

E Line: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Queens-bound Es will skip Spring Street and 23rd Street. Trains will run every 15 minutes.

From 12:15 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, and from 12:15 a.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Jamaica-bound Es will run express from Queens Plaza to Roosevelt Avenue.

From 12:30 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, Jamaica-bound Es will run local from Roosevelt Avenue to Forest Hills, and Manhattan-bound Es will run local from Forest Hills to Queens Plaza.

F Line: From 9:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Jamaica-bound Fs will be routed over the M line from Rockefeller Center to Roosevelt Avenue.

From 12:30 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, Jamaica-bound Fs will run local from Roosevelt Avenue to Forest Hills. Brooklyn-bound Fs will run local from Forest Hills to Queensbridge.

J Line: From 5:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Manhattan-bound Js will run express from Broadway Junction to Myrtle Avenue.

L Line: From 11:30 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Ls will be suspended in both directions between 8th Avenue and Lorimer Street. Shuttle buses will be available.

Ls will continue to operate between Lorimer Street and Rockaway Parkway.

M Line: From 6:30 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. Saturday and from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday, Ms will be extended to the 57th Street F stop.

N Line: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, Brooklyn-bound Ns will skip 49th Street.

From 12:01 a.m. Saturday to 5 a.m. Monday, Queens-bound Ns will run local from 59th Street to 36th Street in Brooklyn.

Q Line: From 10:45 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Manhattan-bound Qs will run express from Kings Highway to Prospect Park.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, Brooklyn-bound Qs will skip 49th Street.

R Line: From 6:30 a.m. to midnight Saturday and Sunday, Forest Hills-bound Rs will run express from Queens Plaza to Roosevelt Avenue.

From 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Brooklyn-bound Rs will skip 49th Street.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 6:30 a.m. Sunday, and from 11:45 p.m. Sunday to 5 a.m. Monday, 36th Street-bound R shuttles will stop at 53rd Street and 45th Street.

Rockaway Park Shuttle: From 11:45 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, the Rockaway Park Shuttle will be suspended. Shuttle buses will provide alternate service.
