MANHATTAN — A teenage boy was shot in the arm during a dispute with other straphangers in the 110th Street subway station in Central Harlem Wednesday night, police said.

The 19-year-old boy, whose name was not released, was with some of his friends on an uptown 2 train when another man, who was with a woman, started staring him down about 11 p.m., an NYPD spokesman said.

The teen and his friends got off the train at 110th Street, near Lenox Avenue, followed by the other duo, police said.

The teen started arguing with the other man, who then pulled out a gun and shot him in the arm, police said.

The teen was listed in stable condition at St. Luke's hospital, police said.

The shooter fled the scene and had not been arrested by Wednesday morning, police said.

The woman he was with was taken into custody, an NYPD spokesman said. It was not immediately clear if she would be charged with a crime, he added.
