QUEENS — A manager at a Forest Hills pawn shop was punched, kicked and pistol-whipped during an armed robbery that took place in broad daylight last Friday, police said.

The incident, officials said, happened at Gold Buyers Club and Jewelers at 99-18 Metropolitan Ave. around 11:30 a.m., police said.

Two men rang the buzzer and after the worker let them in, they covered their faces with dark masks, authorities said.

One of them pulled out a gun, pointed it at the manager and demanded cash, investigators said.

The manager ran towards a back room, where the robbers punched and kicked him, before pistol-whipping him, police said.

The suspects then removed a number of items from the safe, including gold coins and cash, according to the NYPD, before fleeing on foot.

The manager, police said, suffered cuts to the back of his head and was taken to North Shore Forest Hills Hospital, authorities said.

The value of the stolen property was not immediately known, police said.

Both suspects, police said, wore blue jeans. One of them had a black hooded sweatshirt, the other one — a brown one.

A store representative said Monday that the injured worker was doing fine.

No arrests have been made as of Monday morning, police said.
