Dig out your sunscreen and shades, NYC.

This is the weekend when you can graduate from being a Winter Denier to an appropriately dressed sun worshipper. Temperatures on Saturday will be in the mid-70s, and Sunday will be slightly cooler, but just as lovely.

If you're still deciding how you'd like to luxuriate in the true arrival of spring, here are some recommendations.

► Find a checkered blanket, make yourself some sandwiches and lemonade and head out to your favorite picnic spot.

► Feeling adventurous? Here are the best hikes in town — and if you'd like to go further afield, here are some amazing hikes outside the city that you can get to without a car.

► If a picnic seems like a lot of work, but dining al fresco appeals, here's a map of NYC restaurants with backyard gardens.

► Get nautical(ish) at these waterfront watering holes.

► Watch the sun set over the city at one of these unpretentious rooftop bars.

► And if you live off the L-train, which will only be running between Lorimer and Canarsie, here's a quiz to help you figure out where to take a date in your hood this weekend.

Your bike can come out of storage (and it probably should, since the other trains will also be a hot mess for the next few days). What are you waiting for? Get off the computer and go!
