MANHATTAN — An armed robber has been targeting sweets spots in Manhattan, including a Dunkin' Donuts and a candy shop, police said.

The suspect first pulled out two guns and demanded cash from the clerk of A and M Candy at 614 Amsterdam Ave. near West 90th Street at roughly 8:30 p.m. on April 9 but fled without taking anything, the NYPD said.

The next day, he hit the Dunkin' Donuts at 411 E. 70th St. near First Avenue at approximately 9:45 p.m. He pointed a gun at the 31-year-old clerk, demanded money and fled with $250, police said.

The suspect was caught on security camera wearing a hoodie decorated with an American flag, dark pants, black shoes, a black mask covering the lower half of his face, sunglasses and gloves, police said.

Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
