BROOKLYN — A teenager was arrested for groping and stalking an 11-year-old boy in Williamsburg Sunday morning, police said.
Brian Montes, 16, came up from behind and grabbed the boy at a bus stop outside 551 Flushing Ave., near Nostrand Avenue, about 9:23 a.m., NYPD officials said.
The boy escaped and Montes fled into the Marcy Houses, where he lives, police said.
Montes turned himself in to the 90th Precinct stationhouse on Tuesday and was arrested on charges of sex abuse, stalking, attempted luring of a child, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.
He was awaiting arraignment Wednesday morning, police said.
