MORRIS HEIGHTS — A man robbed a livery cab driver at gunpoint last week and stole $350, police said.

On March 25 around 5 p.m., the livery cab driver picked up the suspect at 1035 Hall Pl. in Longwood and took him up to 1590 Undercliff Ave. in Morris Heights, police said.

After the cab got to Undercliff Avenue, the suspect took out a gun, stole $350 from the driver then fled up the street.

The driver was not injured during the robbery, police said.

Police have described the suspect as a man in his 20s, 5-feet 7-inches between 5-feet 10-inches, last seen wearing dark clothing and a black baseball hat with a white symbol on the front.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
