RED HOOK — A 28-year-old man was found dead in Red Hook on Wednesday in what is being investigated as a possible drug overdose, authorities said.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, was found unconscious and unresponsive in a kitchen on the first floor at 49 Coffey St. between Dwight and Richard streets in Red Hook about 3:30 p.m., police said.

There were no signs of trauma and preliminary findings suggested a drug overdose as the cause of death, police said.

No arrests have been made in the case, according to police.
