BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A man was struck by a C train at the Nostrand Avenue station in Bed-Stuy on Tuesday evening, officials said.

The Euclid Avenue-bound train hit the man around 10:05 p.m., according to an FDNY spokesperson.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital in serious but non-life threatening condition, officials said.

The conductor brought the train to an abrupt stop halfway into the station, according to witnesses, and doors were opened at the front cars to let passengers out.

"As soon as you walked out you saw the man literally underneath the train on the tracks," said Maryanne Ravenel, 27, who was on her way home to Brownsville when the train came to a halt.

The man was conscious as operators and police officers spoke to him, witnesses said.

"You could see blood but he was moving. He was completely under the train between the platform," Ravenel said.

C train service resumed with delays following the incident.
