NEW YORK CITY — This thief should be easy to get in touch with.

Police can't seem to connect with a man they believe has hit seven cellphone stores, making off with seven cellphones and an iPad, dating all the way back to December 2013.

In all the thefts, mostly at AT&T stores and one T-Mobile store, the suspect enters the store, removes the electronic devices by snipping the security wires, then flees on foot, police said.

The suspect was caught on a surveillance camera video and has stolen from five stores in Queens, one in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn, the NYPD said. The most recent incident took place on Feb. 4 at a Queens AT&T at 39-15 Main Street. In that incident the thief stole a Samsung Galaxy S5 valued around $200, according to police.

The combination of Samsung phones and Apple products is worth an estimated $2,000.

Representatives from AT&T and T-Mobile could not be reached for immediate comment.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.The public can also submit tips on the website.
