MIDTOWN — There will be service disruptions on the 45 and 6 lines for four consecutive weeknights starting Monday, March 9, as part of the MTA's Fastrack repairs program, the agency announced.

Trains will run express in both directions between 125th Street and Grand Central-42nd Street from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday night and ending Friday morning, and 5 service will end early in Manhattan each night.

Riders can use the M101 bus for local service between 125th Street and Grand Central.

Downtown buses will run on Lexington Avenue and uptown on Third Avenue.

For alternative service on the 5 line customers can take a 4 or 6 train. The Dyre Avenue 5 shuttle will still run overnight in The Bronx.

The work will focus on maintenance work in tunnels, stations and on tracks, according to the MTA.
