QUEENS — A man claiming to have a gun robbed a Flushing spa of $400 last week, police said.
The man entered Jessica Holistic Spa at 42-26 College Point Blvd. on Feb. 19 at 6:48 a.m., said he had a gun and demanded money, according to the NYPD. He took the cash and fled.
No workers were injured during the robbery.
Police described the suspect as a 25-year-old man, about 5-foot-9 and 170 pounds.
This was at least the second incident at a Queens spa in February.
A man raped a woman at gunpoint in a Northern Boulevard spa on Saturday, police said.
Investigators do not believe there is a connection between the two incidents, an NYPD spokesman said.
